Luke 1:37 says, "For nothing will be impossible with God."
Let’s take a moment to really let that verse sink in. It doesn’t say some things, it says *nothing* will be impossible with God. Think about that for a moment. What challenges are you currently facing? Is there a difficult decision you need to make or a tough conversation you’re dreading? Maybe you’re anxiously awaiting the outcome of a situation that feels completely out of your control. Whatever it is, this verse reminds us that nothing—absolutely nothing—is too big for God to handle.
Often, we find it easy to trust God with certain aspects of our lives, but other areas we hold close, unsure if we can fully surrender them. Yet, this verse is a powerful reminder that God is more than capable of handling everything we entrust to Him. What are the parts of your life that you’re holding back from God? What are the areas where you feel uncertain or full of doubt? Picture yourself laying these worries at His feet and imagine your Heavenly Father gently picking them up, holding them securely in His strong, capable hands. He won’t let anything slip; His hand is over everything.
As parents, this truth should fill us with immense hope and relief. We often feel the weight of our children’s futures on our shoulders, believing that every decision we make will determine the outcome of their lives. While our role as parents is crucial and should be approached with care and diligence, it’s important to remember that the ultimate outcome is not in our hands—it’s in God’s. We can fully entrust our children and their futures to Him. God cares for them even more than we do, and with Him, nothing is impossible.
This realization can bring a profound sense of peace. The anxiety and fear that come with trying to control every aspect of our children’s lives can be replaced with trust in God’s perfect plan. We can rest, knowing that our Heavenly Father is in control and that He loves our children beyond measure.
